  1. Hey, Satin! I just watched your session on Colleen Getty’s “The Journey of a Story.” Great stuff! I have been meaning to watch this since it came out, but issues at work and at home (including a computer crash at home – ugh!) have kept me distracted. I hope you had as much fun as I had – you looked relaxed and engaged. Kudos! Now to get a copy of “Secret Need.” I hope to have my second novel in print by the July NEAE book fair, so I will likely see you there. – Sally M. Chetwynd

    1. Thank you for the kind comment and feedback! I’m so happy you loved the characters and were entertained by the stories. Fiona’s story is coming along and is proving to be just as fun and interesting. I really think you’ll like her. 🙂

  2. I enjoyed Secret Hunger so much that upon finishing that book, I went right back online to buy Secret Need. I can hardly wait to read the next Secret book. I’m sure it will be as riveting as the first two.

  3. Finished Secret Need, loved it as much as Secret Hunger. I’m glad that Cynthia did the right thing at the end and led everyone to Liz! I can’t wait for the next book to come out, if you can let me know when it’s finished and where I can buy it, that would be great!

    1. Meredith,
Cynthia was a complicated character to write. I wanted to show how addiction can affect people and make them do things they otherwise wouldn’t. I’m glad to hear you liked it!

    1. Lynn,
I’m so happy to hear you loved the books! I’m still writing the rough draft for Secret Dream, so it probably won’t be published until after the holidays. So…early next year, hopefully. Be sure to sign up to my newsletter for any announcements! (Don’t worry, you won’t be spammed. I basically only send a newsletter out when I have a sale, new release, or it’s a major holiday.)

  4. I read the first two books out of order as I didn’t know the first one I picked up was part of a trilogy! Didn’t matter one bit, I loved both of them and can’t wait for Fiona’s story. I have three sisters so the relationships are fascinating to me. Thank you!

    1. Ginnie,
I’m glad to hear you felt the sister’s relationships rung true. I have both a sister and brother and it was really important that I capture the sibling relationship accurately.

    1. Christine, I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear that you enjoyed Secret Hunger. It really means the world to me that I can write and share stories with readers – truly a dream come true. 6. Hello, I met you at a book signing at The Conway Public Library in Conway, NH. I was there to get a book from two local authors with my daughter. We walked around to look at all the books and you gave us a quick synopsis of your series. I took one of your bookmarks and asked for “Secret Hunger” as a Christmas gift on my Amazon Wishlist. I stayed up late last night to finish it and LOVED IT!!! I can’t wait to read your next book “Secret Need”, and have it on my Amazon Wishlist for my birthday next month! You have a wonderful way of making each character very real, the love story between Mason and Olivia was magical.
    Book Review = 5 *****

    1. Heather,

Your comment made my day! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed Secret Hunger and that Mason and Olivia spoke to you. I was definitely at my own crossroads in life when I wrote their story – which is a theme I suspect a lot of people can relate to. Happy (early) birthday. I look forward to hearing what you think about Liz and Alex!

      1. I wonder if we don’t do our best writing when we are at personal crossroads. We inform our work as we work through our issues. Our personal experience gives authenticity to our work. I know that I have learned a lot (!) about myself as I’ve written my way through two novels. That experience was a bootcamp that prepared me for the next challenge, a non-fiction work that will address some seriously sensitive stuff. Happy writing, all! And happy reading, too!

    1. Lisa,

Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed Secret Hunger! Like most people, I’ve been social distancing and haven’t been able to attend craft fairs this year. Seeing your comment was an especially welcome surprise. I hope you like Liz and Alex’s story just as much.

  8. All three books are amazing! I stumbled upon them a few years ago and I was immediately drawn to the cover art as well as the description of the book. I’m not huge romance person but these are the only books I’ll read a million times over. I cant express how these books really immerse you in the story. The details played out like a movie in my head! I really hope you create more books! I love your writing!
