Most of you probably know that I strongly believe in supporting our local libraries.
What you may not know is that Macmillan Publishing has decided to enact a policy which limits libraries to only one eBook copy of new releases.
I think this sets a bad precedent and is indicative of a trend that will be harmful to the overall health of our libraries.
Luckily, I’m not alone. The American Library Association is currently collecting signatures to petition Macmillan to reverse this detrimental decision and they are asking YOU to weigh in.
Please join me in signing the petition. It only takes a few seconds, but could have long-lasting effects to our society.
And support your libraries!
