Happy Halloween!

Hope everybody has a safe and happy Halloween! I did something very scary today. I sent my Secret Need beta draft off to the beta readers.

I always get super nervous when I share my writing project for the first time. It’s easy to obsess endlessly over every single word, turn of phrase, and scene.

However, I know that If I let my fear get the best of me I’d never publish anything! As it is, I’ve probably allowed myself to spin my wheels for too long on this project. I can only hope the added time and effort will make for a better book.

Luckily, tomorrow is November 1st and marks the first day of NaNoWriMo. I won’t have long to bite my nails and worry about Secret Need before turning my attention to the next project.
